Gonzalo was born in Barcelona, since he was 15 years old he knew he wanted to direct.

He is passionate about telling visually powerful stories in a realistic and cinematic fashion, exploring all sorts of emotions as the main goal.

He tries to translate the intensity and energy of his own life into his stories, always taking them to the limit.

He is very agile and versatile while filming and considers the creative process to be an ever-changing one. He is always open to new possibilities and enjoys

improvising on set to find the unexpected.

Filming is his way of being happy in life, one of his tattoos even says: “I’m free when I film.”

He currently resides in Mexico City where he would like to spend more while going from trip to trip.
