Julien Vallon grew up in a rich multicultural environment which fostered and nourished his passion for film and photography. After having studied applied arts and philosophy at the Sorbonne University, Julien became an art director for some time before becoming a director/photographer.
His work has been shown in Milan thanks to Vogue Italia, in Paris through his Soul Landscape and Memories project, during the photography festival in Arles and more recently, in Milan again during the Vogue Fashion Festival. He regularly works for magazines such as Vogue Italia and L’Express Styles amongst others.
His short film Partagé.e was selected, amongst others, by the Cannes Short Film corner, the La Frontera Queer Film Festival and the TISFF Thess International.
